Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Vennla. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Vennla is a language-learning application offering vocabulary, grammar, spaced-repetition review, and AI-assisted tutoring and conversation.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract (at least 13, or the minimum age in your country).

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Vennla offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” subscription.
• Pro is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through the applicable processor — Stripe on the web, or the App Store / Google Play on mobile.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Purchases made through an app store are also governed by that store’s terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service;
• Upload content you do not have the rights to use;
• Use the service to violate any law;
• Overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse our AI features.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the texts, vocabulary, and messages you provide. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to operate the service for you — including sending it to the AI sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights to any material you upload.

6. AI-generated content

Vennla uses AI to generate translations, explanations, conversation, and audio. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for learning purposes only — verify important information independently.

7. Intellectual property

The Vennla app, its curated content, and its branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to them except to use the service as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vennla is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using Vennla and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
