Delete Your Account
Last updated: July 7, 2026
You can permanently delete your Vennla account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Web: sign in at vennla.co, open the account menu, and choose Delete account.
- iOS / Android: open Settings in the app and choose Delete account.
Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no recovery once confirmed, and no account or subscription is required to complete it.
Delete by email
If you can’t access the app, email support@vennla.co from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request.” We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in identity, including your email and name;
- Your learning data — spaced-repetition state, review history, study sessions, streaks, and progress statistics;
- Vocabulary you added and any texts or documents you uploaded to build custom corpora;
- Language requests and other content tied to your account.
What may be retained
- Payment records. Transaction records held by Stripe, Apple, or Google are retained by those providers as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. We do not store your card details.
- Backups. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten on our normal backup cycle.
- Legal obligations. We may retain limited information where required by law.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an active Premium subscription purchased through Apple or Google — those are managed by the store. Cancel in App Store settings (iOS) or Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) to stop future billing. Web subscriptions are cancelled automatically when the account is deleted.
